Overheard in the Car

Katie: Mama, the trees are putting on their flowers!

Me: That's right, it's almost spring!

Katie: No, they're putting on their flowers to get dressed for the party!

Me: What party?

Katie: My Curious George birthday party!

Me: Of course.


For my baby, all the world is a party decoration.

    she might be right ya know. in our home the world actually DOES revolve around our daughter. trees dressing up for a little girls birthday party does not seem so far fetched to me. *wink*

    Oh to have a girl. A child that notices the trees instead of thinking they are only for climbing and jumping from! Naw, my boys and I have enjoyed the beauty around us too. Well I have amidst the pops of zyrtec! Happy Birthday to your sweet girl!
